Cornwall councillors heard on June 9 the city needs more bachelor and one-unit apartment options, now and moving into the future. Councillors considered the trajectory of Cornwall’s housing stock last week as planning consultants from Montreal-based Re:Public Urbanism presented the findings of a housing needs assessment report. Further details from the presentation to council are laid out in the 200-page draft report that is now federally mandated for municipalities with a population of over 30,000.
